Work With Me Page Tips: How to Get More Inquiries

What to Put On Your Work With Me Page to Get More Inquiries

Have you ever launched a shiny new website, announced it to the world… and then heard crickets?

Or maybe you do get the occasional inquiry, but it’s vague, confusing, or worse — it leads to a discovery call that goes absolutely nowhere.

If you’re nodding along, it’s time to talk about real Work With Me Page tips that actually get results.

Hey! I’m Jessie Richards, website strategist and branding expert, and today I’m breaking down how to fix the most common mistakes and what you should include so your dream clients can’t wait to reach out.

If you’ve ever thought:

  • “Why aren’t more people reaching out?”
  • “Why do people ghost after our call?”
  • “Why am I attracting people who aren’t a fit?”

…this post is your roadmap to turning those crickets into confident, qualified inquiries.

The Problem: A Pretty Page Isn’t Enough

One of my clients, a life coach for moms returning to work after kids, had everything set up — a gorgeous website, a services list, even a contact form.

But despite the site traffic… zero booked calls.

When I peeked at her Work With Me page, it was clear why:

  • A short paragraph about loving to support moms
  • A simple list of packages
  • A “Let’s Chat” button… with no context

That was it.

  • No clear transformation.
  • No pricing information.
  • No guidance about next steps.

Without clarity, visitors don’t take action.

After we restructured her page with a few key changes, she started getting qualified inquiries almost immediately — and the best part?

No more ghosting. No more misaligned leads.

And Bonus: If you’re revamping your site, these Work With Me Page tips will make sure you’re attracting the right people — and none of the wrong ones.

Mistake #1: Fluffy Headlines That Don’t Say Anything

The first thing someone sees should instantly answer:
Who you help + What transformation you deliver.

Skip the vague intros like “Let’s work together!”
Instead, make it benefit-driven and crystal clear, like:

“I help overwhelmed coaches launch high-converting websites that book dream clients on repeat.”

Or:

“Ready to turn your knowledge into a sell-out course? I’ll guide you, step by step.”

Pro Tip: You have about 3 seconds to hook a visitor. Make those words count.

Mistake #2: Overloading With Details

Don’t overwhelm people with a wall of packages and options.
Instead, briefly explain:

  • Who your services are best for
  • What kinds of services you offer
  • What problems you solve

The Goal: Let visitors instantly know, “Yes, this is for me!” (or “Nope,” which is just as helpful).

Mistake #3: Hiding Your Pricing

Let’s address the big debate:
Should you list pricing on your site?

Short answer: YES.

By sharing a range like “Packages start at $2,500 to $5,000” you build trust and pre-qualify the right clients.

It saves you (and them) time.
It shows transparency.
And it avoids awkward “budget” conversations later.

Transparency = Confidence. Confidence = More Dream Clients.

Mistake #4: Confusing Next Steps

After someone reads about what you offer and sees your pricing, what exactly should they do next?

  • Book a call?
  • Fill out an application?
  • Complete a quick form?

Pick ONE action.
And make the button obvious.

Confused visitors don’t take action. Clear direction = conversion.

Mistake #5: Basic, Boring Inquiry Forms

A “Name / Email / Message” form won’t cut it anymore.
Instead, ask 3–5 short, intentional questions like:

  • What service are you interested in?
  • What’s your biggest goal right now?
  • What kind of support are you looking for?
  • Are you ready to invest in your business?

Why?
Because smart questions:

  • Filter serious leads
  • Help you prep for discovery calls
  • Set the tone for a professional client experience

It’s not about making it harder — it’s about setting expectations early.

It’s Time to Stop Leaving Dream Clients on Read
