MEET Jessie Richards

You’ve poured your heart into creating this offer. You know it helps people. You’ve posted about it, maybe even launched it. And yet — no sales. No inquiries. No DMs. Just silence.

Cue the spiral:
“Should I drop the price?”
“Maybe I need a new funnel…”
“Do people even want this?”
I get it. I’ve been there.

And here’s the truth: Your offer probably isn’t the problem.
It’s how you’re positioning it.

Here’s Why Your Offers Aren’t Selling

A few years ago, I created a mini course that I just knew was going to take off. It solved a real problem. It was affordable. I’d spent weeks perfecting it. The launch day came. I hit publish.

And then… nothing. Na-da. Zilch.

Two sales that first week — and one of them was my biz bestie being supportive. I instantly went into panic mode.

Was it priced too high?
Did I need to start running ads?
Maybe no one cared?

But here’s what I eventually realized: the offer itself was fine.

But I had launched this thing into the world without focusing on how is was being positioned. You know, the way you communicate an offer’s value and connect it to what your audience actually needs and wants.

This is a very common problem for online entreprenuers. We have learned a lot along our journey and decide to package that knowledge into an offer that we sell. Sounds great, right?!

But we forget that our ideal buyers aren’t at our level yet. They don’t quite speak the language. They are the previous version of us  — the one that didn’t know the thing and are desperately searching for answers.

So when you position your offer, you need to remember to speak to THAT version of who you were.

Once I clarified my message, simplified my sales page, and started speaking my client’s language instead of a bunch of marketing jargon they didn’t understant, the difference was night and day.

What Exactly Is Brand Positioning?

Positioning is how your offer shows up in your audience’s mind. It’s what makes them see your post or sales page and think: “Oh my gosh — this is exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
Good positioning answers three simple questions:

  1. Who is this for?
  2. What problem does it solve?
  3. Why should they buy now?

When any of those are unclear, your audience scrolls past — not because they don’t care, but because they don’t get it yet.

4 Common Reasons Your Offers Aren’t Selling

Let’s talk about the four biggest mistakes I see entrepreneurs making when their offers flop — and how to fix them.

1️. Your Offer Is Buried

If people have to dig through your homepage or read six paragraphs of fluff before finding what you actually sell, they’ll give up.

Here’s How To Fix It: Make your offers easy to find and clearly labeled. Your audience shouldn’t have to work to give you money!

2.  You’re Leading With Features, Not Transformation

People don’t care about “8 modules” or “10 hours of video.”
They care about how their life or business will look after working with you.

Here’s How To Fix It: Swap features for benefits.

  • Instead of: “8 modules on email marketing”
  • Say: “Learn how to write emails that convert clicks into clients.”

3. Your Brand Doesn’t Match the Value

Even if your offer is incredible, if your visuals, tone, or website feel disconnected or DIY, your audience may subconsciously question whether it’s worth the price.

Here’s How To Fix It: Your brand doesn’t have to be fancy — but it does need to feel consistent, confident, and aligned with the transformation you’re promising.

4.  No Urgency, No Action

If your audience doesn’t see a reason to buy now, they’ll wait.
And “wait” often turns into “forget.”

Here’s How To Fix It: Create natural urgency — limited-time bonuses, enrollment windows, or a clear next step that feels exciting, not pushy.

So What Should You Fix First?

When your offer isn’t selling, it’s tempting to scrap everything and start over — but please don’t.

Here’s what to focus on instead:

Step 1: Clarify Your Message
Can a stranger tell what your offer is, who it’s for, and what it helps them do within 10 seconds?
If not, simplify your language. Use your audience’s words.

Step 2: Audit Your Brand Presence
Does your website, content, and social presence feel aligned with the value you’re offering? If not, polish your visuals and tone to reflect confidence.

Step 3: Strengthen Your Call-to-Action
Don’t just “drop a link.” Paint a picture of transformation. Remind your audience why their future self will thank them for saying yes today.

The Emotional Side No One Talks About

When something doesn’t sell, it’s easy to take it personally. You start questioning your skills, your ideas, even your worth.

But sales are data — not a definition of your value.

The goal isn’t perfection; it’s clarity. When your audience understands who you are, what you do, and why your offer matters, sales naturally follow.

Your Action Step: A Quick Audit Exercise

Take 15 minutes today and answer these questions:

  • Is my offer easy to find on my website or social media?
  • Am I clearly speaking to the problem my audience has?
  • Do my visuals and tone match the value of my offer?
  • Is there a clear reason for them to act now?

If you hesitated on any of these — start there. That’s your fix.
