Your brand is an extension of yourself. You need to define who you are as a person, as well as your values, beliefs, and passions. What do you stand for? What makes you unique? Understanding who you are will help you create a brand that is authentic and true to yourself.

2. Who is your target audience?

Knowing who your target audience is will help you create a brand that resonates with them. What are their needs, wants, and desires? What are their pain points? Understanding your target audience will help you create messaging that speaks directly to them.

3. What problem are you solving?

Every successful brand solves a problem. What problem are you solving for your target audience? How are you making their lives easier or better? Understanding the problem you are solving will help you create messaging that is clear and concise.

4. What is your unique value proposition?

Your unique value proposition is what sets you apart from your competitors. What makes your brand unique? What are you offering that your competitors aren’t? Understanding your unique value proposition will help you create messaging that is compelling and memorable.

5. What is your brand personality?

Your brand personality is how you want your brand to be perceived by your target audience. Are you fun and playful, or serious and professional? What tone of voice do you want to use in your messaging? Understanding your brand personality will help you create messaging that is consistent and on-brand.

6. What is your brand promise?

Your brand promise is the commitment you make to your customers. What can they expect from your brand? How will you deliver on that promise? Understanding your brand promise will help you create messaging that is trustworthy and builds brand loyalty.

7. What is your brand story?

Your brand story is the narrative that ties all of these elements together. What is the story behind your brand? How did you get started? What motivates you? Understanding your brand story will help you create messaging that is engaging and memorable.
